Small Group Personal Training Dublin
Most group fitness classes in Dublin follow the same formula — loud music, high intensity, everyone doing the same thing regardless of ability, and a different instructor every week who doesn't know your name. At District One our small group personal training is built on an entirely different philosophy. Every session is coached, every programme is structured and every member is treated as an individual — even in a group setting. If you've been put off group training before because it felt chaotic or generic, this is something completely different.
Our weekday sessions are built around the core compound lifts that form the foundation of any serious strength and conditioning programme — squats, deadlifts, press, push and pull movements. These are the exercises that build real, functional strength, protect your joints, improve your posture and change your body composition in ways that cardio and machine-based training simply can't match. Every session is progressive, meaning the programme builds week on week so you're always moving forward — not just turning up and working hard with no direction.
Saturday at District One is where things open up. Our bigger conditioning sessions bring the full community together for a higher intensity, varied workout that tests your fitness, your strength and your mental toughness in equal measure. It's the session our members look forward to most — demanding, fun and a completely different energy to the weekday sessions. Think of it as the reward for a week of solid work.
We cap our small group personal training sessions at a maximum of ten members per coach. That's a deliberate decision — it means your coach can watch your technique on every lift, correct what needs correcting, adjust your weights when you're ready to progress and give you the kind of attention that makes group training actually work. You get the energy and motivation of training with others and the coaching quality of a personal training session. Most group fitness classes in Dublin can't say that.
Our small group strength and conditioning sessions are perfect for busy professionals who need a structured session they can drop into before or after work, parents who want an efficient coached workout that fits around family life, complete beginners who want to learn the fundamental lifts properly from day one, and adults over thirty who understand that building and maintaining strength is one of the most important things they can do for their long term health. You don't need experience, you don't need to be fit already — you just need to show up and your coach will take care of the rest.
Our small group personal training and strength and conditioning sessions run Monday to Saturday across all four District One locations — Sandymount in Dublin 4, Rathmines in Dublin 6, Harold's Cross in Dublin 6W and Walkinstown in Dublin 12. Whatever part of Dublin you're based in, there's a District One group session close to you and a coach ready to get you started.
